CouchTimes takes your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy will explain how the application uses the personal data it collects from you when you use the app.

What data do we collect?

We only collect the data we absolutely need for the app to function, which are:

• Names of TV shows you enter while searching for a show
• TV show and show related data (e.g. related episodes)

We store information about your TV shows, episodes, and watching activity, and we may sync this information between your devices.

We also collect anonymous statistics regarding overall popularity and activity for TV show to help inform our recommendations and other features.

The Movie Database (TMDB)

CouchTimes uses TMDB (Privacy Policy) as its data source, which means that any search or update of TV show data (e.g. show details, episodes…) will pass through their service.

iCloud

CouchTimes uses Apple’s iCloud service, to sync all the shows you saved to CouchTimes between all devices signed in to your Apple ID. We don't store any additional personal data.

Analytics

CouchTimes uses TelemetryDeck (Privacy Policy) to collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app. TelemetryDeck only uses anonymized user data stays, so your data stays private.

Crash Reports

CouchTimes uses Sentry for crash reporting. Sentry's Privacy Policy can be found here.
